Peppard Lawn Tennis Club

  • Please support the Peppard LTC Planning Application

As many members are already aware, the Committee would like to replace the court perimeter netting and replace the wooden shed that has seen better days.  The Peppard LTC approach is based on a two stage process:

    • The first task is to get Planning Permission from South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) for "like for like" replacement of the perimeter netting and shed with minor access modifications to allow wheelchair access to both the lower and upper courts.
    • The second task is to appply for a capital grant for the repairs from the SODC Capital Grants Fund and more information will follow as Planning Permission is a mandatory first step as the Club cannot even apply until Planning Permission has been granted.

The Planning Application has just entered a 3 week Consultation period.  The Committee asks that as many members as possible support the Planning Application by making comments on the SODC Planning Website.  The Peppard LTC planning Application can be found by clicking on this link:
Please use the "Comment now" button on the website to register your comment, select "Supporter" from the drop down menu and the Committee has provided a form of words that can be used in support of the Planning Application set out below (but please feel free to enter your own comments):
"I support the Peppard LTC Planning Application for the replacement of the perimeter netting and storage shed to effect maintenance on a like for like replacement basis with no significant new development to the premises."
